Kudos Ace Travels!

And then there are companies such as Ace Travels (www.acetravels.com) who have the guts to put their money where their mouths are. Our politicians could learn a lot from them. Their Facebook page (www.facebook.com/acetravel) is currently a hot bed of debate and opinion flowing from their over 70,000 strong fans. Not satisfied by only leading in the cyber world, they decided to bring the message to the masses.

Yesterday, they put up an advert on the front page of the Kantipur Daily with the simple message "Jyala Pura Leyeu, abha sambidan deu" (you have been paid enough for this job, now give us the constitution).

Kudos Ace Travels! Hats off to you... and I hope businesses, people, politicians specially are led by your example!

Nepal is uniting! The Pressure is ON! Change is inevitable!

    Description:
Mt Everest Base Camp is the most popular destination for trekkers in Nepal. Its popularity has grown since the first expeditions to the Nepalese side of Everest in the 1950s.
The Everest Base Camp trek, a very well known mountain trek, starts from Lukla (2804m) and follows the Dudh Kosi valley which climbs up to the Sherpa capital of Namche, a bustling bazaar that’s a junction for trekkers, the local Sherpa and expedition groups.
All along this part of the trail, villages are interspersed with magnificent forests of rhododendron, magnolia and giant firs. In both the early autumn and late spring, the flowers on this portion of the trek make it the kind of walk you will remember for a long, long time.

The trek takes off from Lukla. First we should take 30 minutes morning flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and we land its tiny at Lukla Airstrip then our trek start to Khumbu Region. The trek follows the Dudh Kosi valley route with an ascent up to the Sherpa capital of Namche Bazaar. From Namche, you traverse along a high path from where you have the first good view of Everest. You head towards Thyangboche Monastery located on top of a mountain ridge and then descend the Imja Khola and continue to the villages of Pangboche and Pheriche. After that you arrive at the Khumbu Glacier. The trek through the glacier takes you first to Lobuche and then to Gorak Shep, where you finally reach your destination, Everest Base Camp at the foot of the Khumbu ice falls.
